F. Lambein fund - VIB seminar
Augustijnenklooster, Ghent
The Fernand Lambein Fund and VIB (Flanders Institute for Biotechnology)
organized the first International Lathyrus day honoring the legacy of
Fernand Lambein, a distinguished Belgian researcher in the field of
Lathyrus sativus or the grasspea plant.
This event extends a warm invitation to academics, bio-scientists and professionals alike, encouraging convergence of minds to foster connections, share knowledge, and cultivate collaborations across the globe.
For this networking event we designed and produced a series of
modular totems, displays and cardboard vases.

Network totems
For the 2 yearly worldwide event we focussed on sharing knowledge and interaction beween the attendees with the installation of 4 modular informative totems made
out of cardboard. Each totem had its own subjects but the separate cards can
also interchange with each other making a complete new setup.
As the event travels worldwide the totems can be dismanteled shipped in custom made shipping boxes.

Display
This seminar focused on mainly one plant and its seeds , the Grasspea.
To present the different seeds from different regions in the world and its varieties,
we designed an eye-catching display built in different levels with an interchangeable back panel.
